When visiting Dubai, there’s no way to not go to the Burj Khalifa. Standing at more than 2,700 feet tall, it’s the tallest building in the world and one of the most iconic sights in Dubai itself. Burj Khalifa is a dream destination of many travelers. It’s also quite pricey if you go through regular ticketing channels, but with these tips on how to make the most of your Burj Khalifa ticket, you can enjoy your visit without busting your budget.
8 Tips For Visiting The Burj Khalifa
A visit to Dubai is not complete without a trip up The Burj Khalifa, now recognized as the tallest building in existence and home to some incredible views of Dubai. In fact, it’s worth checking out even if you don’t want to ride any rides inside! Here are our tips for visiting The Burj Khalifa (how to make the most of your tickets).
1. Buy your ticket online – It costs more but gives you peace of mind that you won’t miss out on seeing one of Dubai’s main attractions.
2. Buy an express ticket – This will get you straight to the front of queues and into lifts quicker than other tickets, so might be worth it if time is tight or there are lots of people waiting around.
Know how to make the most of your visit, starting from getting there
The easiest way to get up Burj Khalifa is via its main At The Top observation deck, which is located on level 124. There are two ways of getting there: by elevator or by an escalator system inlaid into the façade.
Book in advance
If you’re traveling from outside Dubai, and are keen on checking out Dubai’s iconic landmark (the Burj Khalifa), it’s a good idea to book your tickets ahead of time. You can easily book your tickets via www.burjkhalifaticketoffice.ae , or simply go in person to any number of outlets across Dubai, including major hotels and malls such as Mall of Emirates, Deira City Center and more.
Choose your day wisely
The best day to visit Burj Khalifa is a Saturday or Sunday, when it’s less crowded. If you can’t visit on one of those days, try avoiding weekday mornings and evenings—you’ll likely have better luck as an early bird than as a night owl. And don’t plan on taking selfies on top—that area is strictly reserved for special occasions.
What Not To Do
There’s so much to see at Dubai’s Burj Khalifa—the world’s tallest building. And while you don’t want to miss any of it, there are some experiences that are better than others.
