Another major work by Huss is The Church, which is widely considered his most influential work. This work was used to draw charges of heresy at the Council of Constance. Other works of Huss include Count Lutzow’s The Life and Times of Master John Hus and E. H. Gillett’s two-volume biography of Huss, as well as David S. Schaff’s John Huss: His Teachings.
He was a member of the Actors’ Equity
Actors’ Equity has a long history of contributing to society and the arts. The organization has supported arts education, helped fight segregation, and spearheaded fundraising for charities and causes. It also supports live theater, including Broadway productions.
He was an accomplished musician
In 1723, Hasse moved to Naples, Italy, and stayed for six or seven years. In 1725, his opera serenata Antonio e Cleopatra premiered there. The opera was performed by Vittoria Tesi and Carlo Broschi (better known as Farinelli). In Naples, Hasse met and became friends with Alessandro Scarlatti, who had a great influence on his style.

John Hass, a professor of music at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, died on November 13, 2018. He was 86 years old. During his career, he taught at the University of Delaware and the University of Pennsylvania, and he was also a Visiting Professor at the University of Chicago.
