They make decisions according to what is best for them, not what is right.. Warriors value honor, honesty, justice, and their sense of righteousness above all else. In my opinion, character should be a prerequisite, not only for martial arts training, but for many of the privileges we enjoy in this country.

I have great respect for military men and women. But anyone who has served in the military will agree that not all soldiers live according to the character traits required of the warrior lifestyle. Every person who serves our country deserves our respect and gratitude, but service does not necessarily indicate that the person is concerned with perfecting his or her personality. People who take ethics seriously are rare.
