How to reach there

TREK SPECIFICS

The Devkund trek begins at the Bhira village. The hike takes two hours at a moderate pace. To find the beginning point, look for the Bhira dam. Turn left from the Dam and you will find the village. You’ll find a food stand there. Grab a few snacks and ask for directions before you begin your climb.

It is safer to travel with a guide to the falls. Local guides are available near the Bhira beginning point. They charge Rs. 100 per person. They may be able to share interesting facts with you about the falls and are very familiar with the routes.

There are several guesthouses and inexpensive lodges located near the falls. These lodgings offer excellent dining options as well as basic comfort amenities.

There are many great camping spots near the Devkund Waterfalls for those who wish to spend the night outdoors.

Tourists can also visit the Ghangad Fort. It is approximately 9 km from the Devkund waterfall. The base village of Ekole is the starting point for an exciting adventure. It is protected by thick forests and easy to follow. There isn’t much here but adventure seekers love to hike long distances.

Two very old entries are located in the fort. You had to climb an iron ladder to reach the fort.

THE BEST THINGS TO DO

As soon as you reach the summit, take in the stunning views of the Devkund Hills. You will be amazed at the waterfall’s beauty, especially when it rains. While exploring the waterfalls, don’t forget to take in the view of Tamhini Ghat. Picnics can be enjoyed on the grassy areas nearby.
